More Walks with Humans: Blue Jay Park

We never get tired of Blue Jay County Park in North Raleigh. It may be our favorite place locally to hike or just walk around.

Fitz Roy however had never set paw in Blue Jay Park. We decided to correct this.

BJCP has easy access to the Falls Lake Trail. This is also part of the Mountains to Sea trail network.

We talked before about the wooded section of lakefront trail that runs through the park, and how it makes the park feel much bigger than its actual size of just 235 acres.

The Falls Lake Monster? No…just  a golden retriever.

Falls Lake can look really nice in the right light, in this was one of those days.

Fitz knows the best way to cool off in the summer is with a dip in the lake.
