More Walks With Humans: Falls Lake Dam

When somebody tells us to go take a hike or jump in the lake, we don’t get offended. In fact, we get going. There’s just no shortage of places to visit in the Raleigh area to do either.

One of our favorites happens to be right near our house…The Falls Lake Dam and its surrounding areas. Falls Lake Dam happens to be a modest walk from our house.

We dodged thunderstorms on a balmy July afternoon in an attempt to beat the crowd. Thunder rumbled in the distance but no rain ever came near. Fitz and his human owners are little affected by thunder, thankfully.
