Fall was a LONG time coming this year but when it came, the colors were pretty good. Much much better than last year.

 

Pity that we didn’t get too see the full color in the mountains this year. Though we too two trips out in October, we went too early and missed the peak.

On the plus side, our Japanese maple looked fantastic.

That was last week. It’s bare now, the last tree in the neighborhood to turn.

Ice as you can see. And that means, winter is here. And you know what’s just around the corner…
